In South County, the Pelican Pub & Brewery in Pacific City has been making hand-crafted, award-winning ales, stouts, and IPAs for almost two decades. They brew their beers onsite, specialize in “beer cuisine,” (many of their food items are prepared with beer or with a special beer pairing in mind), and have been named one of the best destination restaurants and breweries on the Oregon Coast. Their new Central County location, the Pelican Pub Tasting Room in Tillamook, offers many of their most well-known brews, along with unique food items, such as Elk burgers and fried Tillamook cheese curds and, for fun, a new shuffleboard table down the center of the tap room.
