Lumberman’s Memorial Park

Lumberman’s Memorial Park is located in the heart of Garibaldi where 3rd Street and American Avenue intersect. Created in the 1960’s by the Garibaldi Lions Club and other community members in Tillamook County, volunteers rolled up their sleeves and created a play area for children and a historical area with equipment from the logging and the railroad industry. The Park has been available for the public’s enjoyment for more than 50 years, with thousands of people throughout the world visiting the park. The park is adjacent to the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad’s train facilities, and is the best location to begin and end scenic train rides along Tillamook County’s coastline. Located on Port of Garibaldi property, the park is an easy walk from the marina area. In addition to playground equipment for kids, it has picnic tables and it’s a perfect spot to relax and enjoy some shade on a hot day.
