About Garibaldi.
A small fishing village nestled along the bottom of
Captain Robert Gray Mountain at the northern end of Tillamook Bay, Oregon.
At the Garibaldi Marina, commercial fisherman sling fresh Dungeness crabs, ling cod, rockfish, and even octopus up to the docks. Sport fishermen tell tales at the filet table and local watering holes about record Chinook, tuna and halibut. Kayakers paddle out to spot bald eagles, pigeon guillemots, and purple martins. While gulls circle above, harbor seals surface.
While most of our visitors come for the fishing, crabbing and clamming, we are also home the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad depot and two history museums.
Walking distance from the Garibaldi Marina are a few motels, several RV parks and vacation rentals. A smattering of shops and restaurants serve this coastal community that is a top destination for sportspeople and the anti-tourist. Come here for a peaceful escape, your annual fishing trip, or your family reunion.
We’re central to Oregon Coast and pivotal to Tillamook Bay, with a quiet base camp for exploring nearby waterways and beach towns from Astoria to Lincoln City.
